Bradford, UK – Pakistan Peoples Party’s senior leader Chaudhry Riaz held a meeting with senior leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party (United Kingdom). Zahid Mughal (Communications Secty, PPP UK) hosted the event at Pearls Team Room & Patisserie, Bradford. The meeting was graced by senior leadership of PPP (UK).
The attendees reiterated support for Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s legislative efforts including 26th Amendment, and declared that Parliament is the only institution that can decide legislative future of the country.
The gathering was graced by senior PPP UK leadership including Moshin Bari (President PPP UK), Azher Baralvi (General Secty), Khawaja Kaleem ur Rehman (Snior VP), Chaudhry Nadeem (Vice President UK), Sajid Ali Kureishi (Vice President), Zafar Hussain (President North Zone UK), Naseem Rathor (President Bradford), Raja A.D. Khan, Chaudhry Abdul Qayyum, Raja Ghazanfar, Chaudhry Sagheer (President West Yorkshire), Mirza Farrukh (President Trader’s wing), Bilal Durrani (VP PYO UK ) and Aftab Ahmad Mirza (Chairman Kashmir Committee) and others. The meeting was also graced by former Lord Mayor Bradford Asghar Khan Qureishi & Mayor of Cathalay Mr. Gulfraz Hussain.
Another feature of the meeting was inclusion of young leaders from Bradford including Atiq Sabir Mughal, who met party leadership and expressed their intent on using the party’s platform to take its message forward. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s 97th birthday was also celebrated on this occasion, as a series of celebrations are held across the country to mark 97th Birthday of their Shaheed founder.
The meeting host Zahid Mughal stated that dedicated leaders like Chaudhry Riaz are an asset of Pakistan Peoples Party who have always upheld party’s ideals, and also reiterated that celebrating birthday of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto is not just an occasion, but a time for reiterating that we will follow his philosophy and work towards a democratic and prosperous Pakistan.
The event was a red carpet affair with lavish arrangements – all members and leaders appreciated efforts of the organizer and host Mr. Zahid Mughal.
